Announcing the Lectionary Bible

Today we are pleased to announce our next title: The Orthodox Lectionary Bible.

The Anthologion has been well-received since its release two years ago. We have been humbled by the praise it has received, from esteemed hierarchs, priests, seminary professors, and thousands of ordinary laymen who have used it to grow and enrichen their prayer life using the Church's liturgical riches.

With our Gospel, Apostle, Prophetologion and Psalter set being complete, we have received requests to have these scriptures in a format matching the Anthologion. So, for the last year we have been painstakingly working on this Lectionary Bible to be a close companion, but also a worthy stand-alone book—perhaps even useful as a pew rack Bible available in parishes.

This title will never replace the need for our hardcover Liturgical Scriptures books, but it will be unique in its own way. The daily readings will be given individually in the order they are read in Church, so the user can easily move through the scriptures from day to day, whether in the Divine Liturgy or in a home setting.

And the Lectionary Bible will have all the features our readers know and love:

We have some wonderful gifts available in exchange for the support of backers. Most of all: we are making available our last case of genuine sheepskin leather first edition Anthologions. And if the campaign is successful, God willing, we plan to offer the Lectionary Bible in a genuine sheepskin leather edition as well.

The book is largely finished, with just the extensive index remaining to be completed. Your support will enable us to bring this beautiful title to print, making the full compilation of daily readings available in the simplest and most accessible way possible.
