It's so lovely to have a nice pocket-sized prayer book to keep with me. This one has a wonderful selection of prayers and is easy to use and read despite its small size.

We've started using this book in my parish in place of our Horologion for most services, with or without a priest, because of its simplicity and versatility. It is serving us well, although the translation is different from our Jordanville Horologion and is taking some getting used to for those of us doing readings. I'm not yet sure if I like one better than the other overall, I probably need more time to get used to the Anthologion's language.

Overall, it is a beautiful volume that I appreciate having in my parish church and on my shelf at home. I wish I had more time to put the personal copy to more use! I really appreciate the six ribbon bookmarks, which I think is just right for a book of this length and type, and I wish more prayer books would follow suit with this number of ribbons per page.

I really wish I had this book when my parish was temporarily without a priest last year, as it would have been great for our reader services.

Beautiful book, which provides everything an Orthodox Christian needs to pray with the church

Coming from a traditional Catholic background and accustomed to praying the traditional breviary, I was happy to have this book recommended to me. Since I am still very new to Orthodoxy, I also appreciated the series of videos the publisher made available on Youtube to walk one through it. I think it's more complicated than the Roman Breviary and I could still use more assistance, but the videos are a great start.
The book is also well-constructed and laid out and seems like it will stand up well to daily use!

All the books are wonderfully made and are very sturdy. They won't just fall apart and everything within them is all sectioned and labeled for easy use.

An excellent guide to developing your prayer rule. Done in a very common style of the Orthodox Church still uses today. I've learned more out of the 153 texts on prayer then from many theology books.

This is the perfect prayer book. I gave my first edition copy away and I was disappointed with that edition because I always thought in the back of my mind that adding the hours and compline or 12 twelve psalms was what this needed to be complete. I use this every morning and evening and I take it everywhere. ALTHOUGH I wish this edition had all the additional prayers from the 3rd edition Anthologion added into it. The prayer of Saint Patrick, canon of repentance, the morning prayer of the Optina Elders, among others, could and should all be added into the next edition maybe please.
